Contractor, Military & Homeland Security Presidential Directive Processing Support Specialist III

Amentum is seeking a Contractor, Military & Homeland Security Presidential Directive Processing Support Specialist III to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Office of Security (SIS) in Springfield, VA.

Duties May Include:

• Provide support and maintenance to established PERSEC programs.
• Support the execution of the day-to-day NGA PERSEC & Contractor Processing Team program.
• Prepare, support and administer PERSEC program briefings, as needed.
• Prepare, write, and present reports/whitepapers, various forms of correspondence, as required.
• Brief SISPI leadership and other NGA KC's regarding the program requirements and regulations.
• Appropriately and accurately maintain and update databases and files with data entry in a timely manner.
• Respond in a timely manner to all telephone and/or email actions, questions, or status inquires to include checks of internal and external personnel security databases.
• Assist in maintaining distribution lists for customers to contact PERSEC.
• Bring case security issues to the attention of the government Team Leads in a timely manner.
• Assist the government PERSEC team to help in developing recommendations for improvement.
• Provide service excellence in guidance and resolution to internal and external customers' questions and inquiries in a timely manner for support to their programs.
• Utilizes a variety of security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and recommend solutions for difficult and complex security issues.
• Document and provide Weekly Activity Report (WAR) actions in the SISP designated template and timeline to the Government Team Lead.
• Assist Program Managers, Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives, and Facility Security Officers to support onboarding of task order personnel.
• Coordinate with external offices that support their program.
• Process military orders/Approval to Brief (ATBs) for active duty and reserve personnel within a timely manner once assigned.
• Process requests for military Periodic Reinvestigation (PR) initiation within a timely manner once assigned.
• Support the processing of Continuous Access Authorizations (CAAs) within a timely manner once assigned.
• Process System (JVS) Task Notifications within 5 business days of receipt.
• Process HSPD-12 cases within a timely manner from receipt of SF-85, OF-306, and fingerprints.
• Track submission of HSPD-12 cases to DCSA.

Required:

• TS/SCI clearance and must be willing to undergo a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field to personnel security.
• 7-10 years experience in personnel security in the DOD/IC.
• Understand and be able to analyze the security repositories.
• Familiarity with the requirements for reciprocation of background investigations and SEAD 7.
• Familiarity with HSPD-12 requirements.

Desired:

• Demonstrate experience briefing leadership and other customers regarding program requirements, and regulations.
