Fusion Sound and Lighting is a leading private event production company specializing in weddings, school dances, and corporate events. At the heart of the company is the owner Rick Weber aka DJ Rick Web with over 68k followers on YouTube keeping up with the company social content and his personal brand is a big undertaking.
Thus we’re looking for a full-time Content Creator & Social Media Manager to help drive our social media efforts across the board!
Position Overview:
As our Content Creator & Social Media Manager, your main goal will be to create, edit, and distribute compelling video and photo content across all our digital platforms. You’ll be the go-to for all things content — from capturing footage at events, to editing long-form YouTube videos and snappy social reels, to managing our social presence across platforms. You'll collaborate with DJs, office staff, DJ Rick Web, and crews, ensuring the whole team is aligned and executing on the marketing strategy plans set forth for each brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Film / take photos at events, behind-the-scenes, venue tours, and podcasts for FSL Events divison
Film / take photos content of crews out in the field for our Home / Holiday light service division
Assist in filming DJ Rick Web YouTube Videos
Edit both short-form content (Reels, TikToks, etc.) and long-form content (YouTube videos)
Manage and post to social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google My Business
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all content
Hold the team accountable to filming requirements for weekly content strategy and posting calendar
Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for new content
Attend in-person meetings and filming sessions; editing and posting can be done remotely
Stay on top of social media trends and platform best practices
What We’re Looking For:
A driven, creative, and self-motivated individual with a strong eye for visual storytelling
Familiarity with current social media trends and platforms (especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube)
Video editing skills (experience with tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut is a plus)
Experience creating engaging, entertaining, and trend-driven content
Organized and proactive — you can manage multiple projects and deadlines with ease
Great communication and collaboration skills
Owning your own gear is a bonus, but not required (we can provide what’s needed)
