Job Title: Superintendent – Multi-Family, Hotel & Office Projects

Location: Charleston, SC

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 (Based on Experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent on behalf of a respected Charleston-based general contractor with a strong portfolio in multi-family, hospitality, and commercial office projects . With a proven track record in both ground-up construction and upfit/renovation work , our client is looking for a hands-on leader who can bring quality, schedule, and safety together on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations for assigned projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, inspections, and scheduling updates
• Collaborate closely with project managers to maintain timelines and budgets
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and inspectors

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven success managing ground-up and upfit projects in multi-family, hotel, or office sectors
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety protocols, and building codes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to lead teams and resolve issues quickly on-site
