The Final Project will cover a business development area of growth for Camillo Properties or recommendations for a specific area of the business selected by the executive management team. JOB DESCRIPTION Company: Legend Homes Job Title: Construction Intern Department: Construction Reports to: Area Construction Manager Status: Non-exempt/Hourly Job Summary We are seeking a motivated college student to work on various single-family residence home projects. This role will assist the Construction Manager in coordinating the on-site construction activities for assigned subdivisions. The Construction Intern will assist in monitoring the completion of each construction phase through performing inspections, scheduling and coordination of activities as directed by the Project Manager while gaining an overall knowledge of the construction management processes and best practices. Duties/Responsibilities: - Assist Construction manager with the full-cycle of the building process
- Coordinates and monitors scheduled updates, inspection and walk lists for all homes in progress
- Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors' construction schedules and weekly payroll processes
- Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of all homes, including project costs and potential changes
- Ensures that all work is being performed in accordance EPA and SWPPP requirements
- Prepare and create project status reports for all business leaders
Required Skills/Abilities: - Ability to maintain professionalism and a strong customer-focused demeanor with demanding clientele.
- Excellent time management skills, detail-orientation and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with advanced conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co-workers throughout the organization.
- Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary.

Education and Experience: - Enrolled and currently attending an Associate Degree program, 2-year program, Community College, or 4-year program at a college or university.
