Job Description The incumbent will play a pivotal role in connecting our projects with the communities we serve. Through effective communication and a commitment to understanding the unique characteristics of each community, the incumbent will champion public awareness and promote the program's initiatives are met with understanding, trust, and collaboration. You will join our Construction Management Department As our new Communication Specialist, you will be part of the Construction Management team that support project delivery of Ramboll's Municipal Water/Wastewater Infrastructure construction projects. Your key tasks and responsibilities include: Call and Inquiry Management: Answer incoming calls positively, escalate when needed, and offer voicemail options. Email and Voicemail Processing: Respond to customer emails and voicemails, prioritizing urgent messages. Ticketing System Utilization: Manage customer inquiries using a ticketing system, following priority ranking for issues. Follow-Up Process: Maintain a follow-up procedure, collaborating with team members to resolve issues promptly. For this role, we believe your starting point is: High school diploma. 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage high-volume calls and emails efficiently. Proficiency in using customer service management tools and systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Additional skills, certifications, and qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Prior experience in community outreach, public health, or related fields. Multilingual.
