We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auto Claims Adjuster for a full-time, in-office/hybrid position in our New York office. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of commercial auto insurance claims for our Risk Retention Group (RRG). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims adjustment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims involving commercial auto policies.
2. Determine coverage, liability, and damages while efficiently managing claims.
3. Negotiate claim settlements with claimants and attorneys.
4. Collaborate with underwriters and other team members for effective claims handling.
5. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of claim activities.
6. Deliver exceptional customer service and guidance to policyholders throughout the claims process.
7. Stay updated on current trends and developments in the commercial auto insurance sector.
8. Qualifications:
9. Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims adjustment, specifically in commercial auto insurance.
10. In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and regulations.
11. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
12. Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
14. Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
15. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
16. Valid Claims Adjuster license in California..
