Liberty Presbyterian Church Delaware, Ohio, United States Preschool Director Position at Liberty Barn Church Role Overview The purpose of the Preschool Director is to make wholehearted disciples of Jesus by building a thriving Preschool that loves and nurtures children the way Jesus would and introduces a new generation of families to Liberty. Responsibilities The Director is the administrator of the school and leads the day-to-day operations of our outstanding preschool, offering a supportive learning environment to children ages 3-5 years old. The Director must have the ability to manage children, adults, and resources with excellence. The Director will be a compassionate and collaborative leader with a strong Christian faith, who is committed to, and supports, the vision and mission of Liberty Barn Church and its leadership. This individual represents Liberty Barn Church—both inside our walls and to the greater community. Required Qualifications A passion for living out Liberty’s mission, vision, and values and the desire to work as a part of a staff and volunteer team A deep love for children and a desire to educate and nurture them Strong business acumen and the ability to develop a healthy staff culture Applicant must meet state licensing requirements for preschool directors A bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or five or more years teaching in an ODJFS preschool Desired Qualifications Five or more years’ experience as a preschool teacher Prefer experience in directing early childhood education programs & curriculum development skills Supervision and Leadership skills, with strong organization Professional and self-motivated, with strong communication and marketing abilities Technical Skills Experience using Excel, Brightwheel, and Microsoft 365 programs Management skills and experience, including reading and analyzing financial data This is a full-time exempt 30.5 -32 hour week position, Monday – Friday, August 1st through end of May.
