About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Health Informatics Officer (CHIO) to lead the strategic development and implementation of an enterprise-wide informatics strategy. The CHIO will be a key figure in the integration and optimization of digital health solutions, with a focus on enhancing patient care and streamlining clinician workflows. This pivotal role involves championing the adoption of new technologies, particularly in the context of a newly formed system, and driving initiatives related to data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will be a visionary physician leader, serving as the primary provider champion for all major clinical information technology projects and ensuring that the electronic health record system is effectively utilized to improve clinical outcomes. Candidates for the CHIO position at the company should be licensed and board-certified MD/DO, with a minimum of 7 years experience in a physician leadership role within a complex, multi-specialty healthcare environment. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in medical informatics, clinical systems implementation, and change management, as well as strong skills in relationship building, team development, and driving positive change. The CHIO will be expected to establish strong partnerships, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and be committed to a patient-centered, customer-focused approach. The position demands a transformative leader who can guide the organization through digital transformation and is adept at prioritizing projects, setting realistic timelines, and fostering a culture of innovation.
