Job Overview
We are looking for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver with hazmat endorsement to deliver freight to our various customers. Your expertise will ensure timely, safe, and efficient deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. After reviewing past experience, resume and background checks, this would be an immediate hire position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks across designated routes to deliver freight efficiently.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance in compliance with federal regulations.
• Route driving to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements

• 2 years of CDL A driving experience
• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• Hazmat endorsement.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• Air brake qualified.
• Able to lift 100 lbs. to move cargo and securely place tarps.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling.
• No automatic transmission restrictions.
• Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety procedures for transporting freight.
• Familiarity with route planning software or GPS systems for efficient navigation.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment when required. Safety and efficiency are essential for the work environment and adhering to such would determine the continued employment with the company.
