Job Description:

As a Carrier Sales Representative at BSL, you will be a vital contributor to our team, responsible for building and managing carrier relationships to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions for our clients. This role offers tiered positions, allowing you to advance as you demonstrate your skills and commitment. Your primary focus will be on negotiation, relationship-building, and ensuring the safe and on-time transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Build new and existing carrier relationships.
• Strategically reach out and develop new carrier relationships
• High ethical standards and a commitment to honesty and integrity.
• Track all loads tendered to carriers from dispatch to delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth and timely cargo movements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• A base level understanding of transportation and logistics.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Driven and competitive nature.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to honesty and integrity.
• Ability to negotiate, empower, and influence others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
