Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Mine Production Operator (Tech 6) in our Carlin Open Pit Mining Operations department.

Responsibilities and Qualifications: - Expert on one loading unit in current fleet.
- Proficient on at least one additional piece of equipment.
- Understands inspections and operating systems - Demonstrates expert operating techniques, Is proficient on CAES screen and its functionality.
- Dig face management - Expert on dig face management, ore placement, and hazard recognition and correction, Maintains proper floor grade.
- Communicates with controllers on truck needs, ore types, etc.
- Demonstration of responsibilities - Is an expert in highwall maintenance, Is an expert on proper loading techniques, Is responsible for a safe and efficient work area, Fully understands flagging schemes and alternate material types, Acts as a leader.
- Demonstrates the ability to meets or exceeds budgeted tons per hour.
- Demonstrates safe work performance and holds others accountable.
- The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

About the Team Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined our significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world.
