Our Opportunity: Chewy is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to join our Inventory Intelligence and Network Design team in Plantation, FL. This high-impact role sits at the heart of Chewy’s evolving supply chain, where you'll help bring clarity and action to some of our most complex inventory network optimization challenges. The successful candidate will have solid experience with SQL and Tableau. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing business requirements submitted by customers and building SQL queries and Tableau dashboards to meet those needs. You will create data-driven products that empower the business to act—developing scorecards, waterfall reports, alerts and notifications, and interactive tools that support deep dives and informed decision-making. You’ll be spearheading multiple reporting suites, so we’re looking for someone highly analytical, passionate about iterating and enhancing data products, and focused on building solutions that drive real business impact. What You’ll Do: Apply expert-level SQL to build pipelines and data models to tackle complex logic challenges, analyze large datasets, ensure data integrity, and deliver actionable insights through intuitive visualizations! Leverage deep Tableau expertise to build visually polished, high-impact dashboards using the full range of platform features and functionality. Partner with Supply Chain customers to understand difficulties and dashboard gaps, implement enhancements and custom tools, and continuously test and refine solutions for greater impact. Lead data projects from end to end — capture partner requirements, identify and source relevant data, build the initial version, and iterate through feedback cycles to deliver a refined, production-ready solution. Contribute to projects, proactively identify and raise potential opportunities or commonalities, and apply critical thinking to drive continuous improvement across the business. What You’ll Need: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, engineering, statistics, computer science, business with analytics focus 3-4 years of related full-time experience in an analyst and analytical role. Current permanent U.S. work authorization is required 3+ years automating data processes, developing dashboards, and building scalable analytics solutions in an ecommerce, omni-channel, or retail setting. Comfortable working with tools and environments such as Jupyter Notebook, VS Code, Python, Virtual Machines, KNIME, Snowflake, and AWS to support advanced analytics, automation, and scalable data workflows. Solid grasp of SQL and demonstrable ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries. Ability to tailor analytics products to meet the needs of end customers using tools ranging from Excel to Tableau. Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence to handle source code and track project development. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
