Job Description

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our client’s manufacturing company in downtown Rochester! Position comes with a full suite of benefits upon hire!

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 + commission

Type: Direct Placement

Job Duties:

Responsible to maintain current high-level accounts and add new high-level customers through new business development activities

Responsible for meeting sales targets for revenue and margin

Perform market research, generate leads, create quotes, and secure purchase orders

Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities, communicate customer feedback to engineering

Perform strategic planning, define target markets, generate forecast

Work collaboratively with the marketing team to create messaging that will support sales

Work collaboratively with the Director of sales to create competitive and profitable pricing strategy

Swiftly resolve client issues

Keep track and supervise communications between key clients and the organization

Anticipate client's needs and proactively address them

Develop up-selling and cross-selling strategies

Necessary Skills:

Proven experience in account management or relevant sales role

Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive business development initiatives

Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred

Relevant work experience: minimum 3 years of experience

Proven track record of success

Travel:

As necessary
