DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this important role, you will provide service to all unemployment compensation customers by gathering information and pertinent data from claimants and employers to validate UC claims in accordance with the Pennsylvania UC Law. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Hours may vary based upon operational needs. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Overnight travel may be required. You may be required to travel to Harrisburg as required. You may work in other UC Connect Career Link locations as needed. Telework: You may have the opportunity to telework, part time after the successful completion of the required probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection or broadband internet service with download speeds of at least 25 Mbps and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Successful completion of the Unemployment Compensation Intake Interviewer Trainee (commonwealth title) program; or Three years of customer service or office support experience which includes two years of experience resolving customer impact issues; or Any equivalent combination of experience or training which includes two years of experience resolving customer impact issues. Other Requirements: This position requires the selected candidate to be able to read, write, and speak in Spanish.
