Job Summary:
The Barback at Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, New Jersey is responsible for supporting the beverage operations by providing efficient and exceptional service to guests. This full-time, individual contributor role offers competitive salary and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare the bar area before and after service by stocking all necessary supplies, including ice, glassware, and garnishes
- Assist bartenders with preparing and serving drinks to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down counters, restocking shelves, and removing empty glasses and bottles
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management of any supply needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including handling and storing drinks and food items properly
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and bar equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding the service of alcohol
