We are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Project Manager for our Ground Up Healthcare division. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a keen interest in the construction industry, particularly within the healthcare and behavioral health sectors. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that shape the future of healthcare facilities. You will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, integrity, and commitment to excellence. You will play a critical role in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, budget, and timeline.
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager-Ground Up Healthcare, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Assisting in the planning, management, and execution of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, including architects, engineers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure projects meet the highest standards.
3. Overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
4. Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Facilitating communication between all stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent information flow.
6. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, ensuring all projects adhere to these guidelines.
7. Implementing and monitoring health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all team members.
8. Providing regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports and budget reviews.
9. Continually seeking opportunities for improvement, driving innovation and efficiency in all aspects of project management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Assistant Project Manager-Ground Up Healthcare role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a specific focus on healthcare construction.
2. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
3. A solid understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, with a particular emphasis on behavioral health facilities.
4. Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
6. The ability to identify and resolve potential issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
7. A commitment to health and safety, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all team members.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
