Assistant Project Manager
100% Remote
Target Start Date: 9/30/2024
End Date: 12/31/2027 (with opportunity for extension)
IT systems to be used: NEIS, Salesforce, SharePoint, Buildings Portal, Tableau
Contractor must have computer, cell phone, and access to reliable high-speed internet
Hourly rate 30.00 to 35.00 per hour depending on experience.

Department: Efficiency Planning & Engineering
Initiative: Technical Services
Technical Services need support for application processing, project transactions, contracting, data analysis, data entry, business process improvements, reporting, and oversight and triage of the Program inboxes. This role would build capacity for the existing team in order to address the current and forecasted pipeline of projects in a timely fashion.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• High level Excel skills including pivot tables, graphing, and other advanced formulas and functions.
• Well established analytical & critical thinking skills.
• Ability to understand and navigate different database systems (experience with NEIS and/or Salesforce is a plus).
• Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to multitask. Has extremely high level of attention to detail.
• Has good interpersonal relations with staff. Has friendly, helpful and positive attitude. Able to take direction and criticism from supervisor and other senior staff.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication is needed. Communications will be both internal and external to all participants in projects.

Responsibilities:

• Process project transactions in both the financial database (NEIS) and project databases (Building Portal & Salesforce).
• Programmatic support including customer/consultant/stakeholder communications, email inbox triage, documentation of solicitation feedback, facilitation of programmatic updates, etc.
• CEF Reporting support.
• Support to business process development and refinement.
• Support project database migration to Salesforce.
• Oversight and support of on-going Quality Assurance/Quality Control of database systems and Programs.
• Data analysis and ad-hoc reporting- General support to Project Managers when needed.
• Other duties as needed that are consistent with this level of staffing to support the general functions of the Technical Services Team.
