As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Glen Allen, Va
• Set schedule: Full-time 3:00PM - 11:PM, Monday - Friday
• Competitive hourly wage of $32.45/Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Prior tactical firearms experience and prior advanced training in emergency medicine preferred.
• Miniumm 3 years federal, state, local law enforcement or military police experience.
• Must possess advanced skills and professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion and through the utilization of de-escalation techniques.
• Must possess the ability to function in stressful situations while exercising good judgement.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the public while maintaining poise and self-control under stress.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, weapon training qualification certification for the type of weapon required at the post to which the applicant is being considered for placement.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
