What you'll do

  • Support design, delivery, management of Travel Rewards Programs for American
  • Use customer segmentation, data analysis, and market insights to forecast revenue and optimize programs through financial modeling
  • Liaise with joint business partners in Europe and Asia Pacific to align and enhance joint offerings
  • Work with key stakeholders across AA in IT, Analytics, Finance, RM, Sales, Marketing, etc. to implement and manage Travel Rewards Programs. Tasks may include user story development, iteration planning, performance tracking, reporting, training, developing relevant points for customer communications, etc.
  • Drive strategic planning, valuations, platform strategy & execution with third party technology companies powering program platforms
  • Participate in a customer-centric culture of learning, experimentation, and data-led decisions focused on understanding predictors of user behavior that drive incremental value
  • Automate dashboards, deliver annual budget/forecast and manage monthly P&L with clear, concise performance reporting to inform senior management and stakeholders of results
  • Travel required (up to 25%)

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Advanced Degree
  • Airline/travel experience
  • Knowledge of airline ticketing policies/procedures, tariffs/taxes
  • Familiarization with American’s data
  • 2 years related experience in product management and development experience, data analysis, or Agile methodology experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of PRISM, SABRE, and tableau
  • Ability to be flexible in rapidly changing conditions and priorities
  • High level of initiative, collaboration, and creative problem solving
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with minimal supervision
