Job Description:

KMA is looking for an Accounting Manager to manage our financial accounting department; to train, supervise and review staff accountant's work while performing accounting, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation for the more rigorous accounting needs of our privately held small to middle-market companies.

Responsibilities:

• Self-manage and train/supervise accounting engagements to meet client expectations, budgets and financial reporting needs.
• Deliver detailed analysis of findings and coordinate all analytical, technical and research tasks.
• Collaborate with Partners in the areas client financial reporting needs.
• Build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
• Provide both leadership and supervision to Staff.
• Organize accounting department to manage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Accounting environment.
• Expertise in both online and desktop QuickBooks Accounting; as well as adaptability to other client ledgers.
• Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Strong motivation to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service.
• Strong analytical and report writing skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• A comprehensive understanding of data analysis techniques.
• Creative problem solving and research skills.
